Mary, I close my eyes and see you with Koa at your side, walking through the woods. She looks back to make sure you are close, and then sets off on her lopsided run, knowing that she is safe. And then I see Macy approach you and Koa, wonder and joy in her eyes, knowing that all is now well. And finally, you are all joined by precious Gypsy, who recognizes you at once and welcomes you home, as you all carry on through the woods, beaming with love and happiness.
