Condolence: I am heartbroken by the loss of my dearest friend Barbara. She was quite a lady. She was bright and witty, with a great sense of humour. She had a great artistic eye for the visual arts and she used it also in her gardening activities. She had a way of bringing people together. I will treasure forever all the good memories that I had with her. She will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to David.

Condolence: Dear Dave and Family: My heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of Barbara. I started my teaching career with Barbara at the old Agassiz School. We often ate lunch together in the tiny teacher's room above Kay Cox's office. Barbara offered advice and encouragement when I needed it, which was often! Her calm nature and ready smile were always a source of comfort. She often had fresh raspberries in her lunch!

Condolence: Dear Dave: Words can never express the feelings of loss you and your family must feel. My memories began in the Cambridge School system. It brought me into the special relationship that you both shared. I smile when I think about each year that I was about to turn in my Ed plan, Barbara was always a guiding light before I had to enter the Inner Sanctum. I fondly remember my retirement party which you both gave me yet another lifelong memory. Then reconnecting in Maine these past years. You and dear Barbara will always have a place in my heart. M. John Kawadler

Condolence: My wife Pam and I didn't know Barbara well but our New England roots recently crossed paths at Harmony Island in Vero Beach, Florida. Barbara was in charge of the landscape committee for the Harmony Condo Association and she was a most energetic, knowledgeable, creative, and engaging personality. I also observed her embrace and kindness to the landscape workers who did the hard labor in the heat of the day to make our beautiful corner of the planet such a special place. Thank you, Barbara
