A.Walter D’Antilio, 94 of Wells, Maine, passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 30, 2020. The day after Pearl Harbor was bombed at the age of 16 Walter enlisted in the Marines and served his country in the 3rd Marine Division as a munitions runner for two years in the South Pacific Theatre. After leaving the military he met and fell in love with Muriel Elaine Castine from Reading Mass. They were married on July 12, 1949, celebrating their 70th Anniversary together this past year.
He was predeceased by his parents Ariodante D’Antilio and Marietta Torres, as well as his sisters Louisa and Suntina.
He is survived by his loving wife Muriel, the seven children they raised, Steven,
Walter (Chyper), Gaihel, Linda, Deborah, Dante, & Nanci. They also assisted in raising their 2 granddaughters Audra and Muriella. Their 16 other grandchildren Leainne, Avalon, Cymbrie, Kestrel, Abundance, Ursula, Rheta, Franke, Ario S., Anita, Holly, Conor, Emily, Ario, Dominic, and Sofia. And 19 great grandchildren.
