Alice F. Brod of Kennebunk, Maine, passed away at her home on December 15, 2021. A native of the Bronx, she was born in 1946 in New York City to George and Ruth (Lapidas) Ross.

A graduate of NYU, she was a high school guidance counselor on Long Island for many years. After retirement she moved to Kennebunk to be closer to her daughter.

She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Lawrence Brod, her brother Geoffrey Ross, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Alyson Durham, her husband Ian, and their children Nathaniel and Sarah of Kennebunk, ME; and by her son Stephen Brod, his wife Alice, and their daughter Charlotte of St. Louis, MO.

A graveside ceremony will be held at 10:30 AM on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at New Montefiore Cemetery at Parklawn in West Babylon, NY.
