Obituary for Amanda N. "Manda" Bernier
KENNEBUNK
Amanda “Mandy” Bernier, 35, our beloved daughter, has passed away Thursday morning, April 1, 2021 following a lifelong battle with epilepsy.
Mandy was born April 29, 1985 in Biddeford, and she attended Kennebunk Schools, graduating from Kennebunk High School in 2004.
She worked within the Kennebunk School system for a while, and most recently worked with Goodwill Industries in Biddeford for the last 5 years.
Family was important with Mandy, in her younger years she would snowmobile, hike, and camp with her family until she got old enough to be able to say she did not like the woods, especially the mosquitoes. Enjoying time inside, she loved to play video games, volunteer at the Animal Welfare Society, spending time with her cat; and her world opened- up when her niece Olivia was born, and Mandy loved to spend as much time as she could with her.
Survivors include her loving parents Douglas and Bonnie Lank Bernier of Kennebunk, paternal grandmother Claire Bernier of Kennebunk, her younger brother Robert Bernier, his wife Angel, and their daughter Olivia, all of North Berwick, and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 4 – 6 PM Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St. Kennebunk.
