Obituary for Blaine Armand Fortin

Blaine Armand Fortin, 53, of Kennebunkport, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his home. He was born October 14, 1967 in Biddeford to Armand and Charlotte (Verrier) Fortin. He married Tracy Cranston September 22, 2000.

Blaine graduated from Biddeford High School in 1986. He was a successful partner in the ownership of Quality Floor Finishers for many years before he changed gears and became the sole owner and proprietor of Quality Yard Services.

Blaine was one of those rare people who could light up a room and make anyone feel special. It was easy for him to make friends, had a huge heart and was overly generous whether it was with the love he showered upon his family or taking time to share his coveted hunting tips with his buddies. Blaine was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting but his real passion lied in the craft of bow hunting. Beyond measure nothing made Blaine happier than being with his family. He was the most loving husband to Tracy and father to Christopher and Samantha. Son to Joe and Charlotte and brother to Gary. He loved family vacations, watching his children play sports and cooking.

Blaine is survived by his parents, Armand and Charlotte Fortin of Fort Myers, FL; wife, Tracy Fortin of Kennebunkport; children, Christopher and Samantha Fortin of Kennebunkport; and brother, Gary Fortin and sister in law Larymar Miller of Naples, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Blaine Fortin to Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife at www.mefishwildlife.com and click “Shop Now”.

Public visiting hours will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Bibber Memorial Chapel in Kennebunk with a private family funeral service to follow.
