Obituary for Bonnie B. Toussaint (Gordon)
Bonnie B. Toussaint, 88 years, of Kennebunk died April 5, 2020 at Kennebunk Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health.
Bonnie was born August 16, 1931 in Kennebunk, ME, a daughter of Maurice and Cora (Dixon) Gordon. She attended Kennebunk Schools and married Roland Toussaint. In addition to taking care of their home and family, Bonnie and Roland owned and operated several restaurants in the Kennebunk and Arundel area.
One of Bonnie’s greatest joys was taking care of her grandchildren. She loved her family and enjoyed helping whenever she could.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Roland and their daughter, Roxanne Toussaint.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Todd Toussaint and Jerry Toussaint of Kennebunk; her daughter, Joy Lynn Burleigh of Wells; her brothers, Merton Gordon and Bill Gordon; four grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Following Bonnie’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service at a later date at the Gordon private cemetery.
