Daniel Ryan Patterson of Kennebunk, ME passed away on May 7, 2021 at the age of 36. Daniel was born on June 23, 1984 to Cheryl Carey. He attended Kennebunk schools and was a graduate of luthier school in Big Rapids, MI.

Daniel worked as a guitar technician and spent many years touring the world with a variety of well-known bands. He then went on to become the owner of Dock Square Guitar Repair and was very talented at building, repairing, and restoring guitars. Music was always Daniel’s true passion.

Those who knew and loved him got to experience his unique sparkle, honesty and passion that came shining through. He will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his two daughters, the loves of his life, Hailey and Alainah Cerrone-Patterson; his mother, Cheryl Carey; his wife, Tara Baker; his grandparents, Jack Carey, Noreen Carey, and Betty Josephson; his aunt, Barbara Frank; his uncles, Brian Carey and Kevin Carey; and his cousins, Rachel Hatch, Nick Carey, Trevor Carey, Laurel Carey, and Jordan Carey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the trust fund set up for his daughters, Hailey and Alainah.
