David Paul Soucy, 79, of Jim Grant Road died at his home on Wednesday March 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife, daughter and granddaughter after a period of failing health.

Born March 27, 1943 in Rochester, NH, the son of the late Leo and Lillian (Dodier) Soucy. David served his country in the United States Army and went on to be a plumber for the Local #131 union.

David is survived by his loving wife Carol (Short) Soucy of Lebanon; children, Richard R. Plante and his wife Cheryl of Oklahoma, Roger A. Plante and his wife Vicki of Barrington, NH, and Pamela J. Soucy of Lebanon; a sister Camille St. Hilaire of Lebanon, ME; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

David was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Wayne, Leo, and Dennis Soucy; and his two girls, Rhonda R. Soucy and Janet L. Soucy.

An hour of visitation will be held on Sunday March 5, 2023 from 1-2 pm at the Bibber Memorial Chapel- Berwick, 62 Cemetery Road, Berwick, Maine. A Celebration of David’s life will follow at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Berwick.
