Obituary for Donna F. (Hill) D'Antilio

Donna Frances (Hill) D'Antilio, 68, of Wells, ME passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Dover, New Hampshire on November 11, 1953, she was the daughter of the late George and Antonia Hill and the youngest of her siblings Kathryn and George.

Donna graduated from Dover High School in 1971 and that same year married her high school sweetheart Ronald Wade. They had two daughters Jennifer and Jessica. On May 5, 2005 she married her love Steven D'Antilio and gained a daughter Leianne. She was a long time resident of Wells, residing in the community for decades. She worked for many years at Foster's Daily Democrat and the Anchorage by the Sea from which she retired.

Donna loved music and singing. It was more often than not that she was singing a jingle. She also loved drawing, classic sitcoms, soap operas, ghost hunter shows, warm sunny days on her swing, campfires, playing VR games and spirituality. It was the simple times spent with her family and friends that made her the happiest. She also enjoyed being with her friends at maple leaves and playing the game farkle. Everyone knew she was the life of the party and her laughter was infectious.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, George A. and Antonia (Gourdouros) Hill; her brother George C. Hill; her brother in law Dennis R. Shackford; and her former husband and friend Ronald E. Wade.

She is survived by: her husband Steven W. D’Antilio of Wells; her daughters – Jennifer Wade of Sanford, and Jessica Wade Starkey and husband Josh of Windham; her step-daughter Leianne D’Antilio of Wells; her sister Kathryn Shackford of Wells; her nephew Dennis J.
