Obituary for Dorothy J. "Dottie" Weeden (Jones)
Dorothy Jones Weeden, ("Dottie") 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 17th, 2022.
Born on April 30, 1936 in Lubec Maine, daughter of the late Austin and Elva Jones. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Freddie Chadwick, grandson, Jeremy Chadwick as well as brothers, Aubrey, Earl and Robert Jones and her sister, Almeda Stafford.
Dottie is survived by her four daughters, Debra Perry, husband, Budd of Portsmouth, NH, Sarah Desmarais, husband, Ernest of Wells, Me, Julie Gile and husband, Dennis of Alfred, ME and Wendy Emery of Wells, ME, and her son Austin (Jonesie) Chadwick, and wife Lisa of Moneta VA. She is also survived by her sisters, Roma Babula of Portsmouth, NH and Mary Doane and her husband, Bill of Ft. Myers, FL, as well and many nieces and nephews.
Her greatest joy was being a mother to her six children, being "Nana" to fourteen grandchildren and "Nani" to twenty-one great-grandchildren.
She was dearly loved and will be forever missed by all.
A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
