Edrick “Ed” Amos Adams, 84, passed away September 23, 2020 in Portland, ME. He was born January 3, 1936 in Montrose, PA to Amos and Verna (Tingley) Adams.
Ed received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for Pennsylvania Power and Light and also served our country as a member of the U.S. Army. Ed married Judith Marsh on April 27, 1963.
Ed was a kind and loving husband and father. He was a very patient man who was always generous and helpful to his friends and family. He enjoyed skiing, sailing, vintage cars and trucks, and was an avid and exceptional woodworker. He held a passion for history, especially that of family and country. He was a member of the Austin-Healey Club of America, North-South Skirmish Association, and a Thirty Second Degree Mason.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Verna Adams; sister, Jennie Bowen; and brother, Raymond Adams. He is survived by his wife, Judith Adams of Dalton, PA; son Jonathan Adams and his wife Pamela of Kennebunk, ME; daughter, Jennifer Adams and her husband Seth Nagelberg of Shaker Heights, OH; and grandchildren, Tyler, Ezra, Lola, Alex, and Jonas.
