She was known and loved for her many genuine friendships and infectious laugh. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Theo, two children Gretchen and Jeffrey, three grandchildren Holden, Audrey, and David, and her brother Donald and his family, along with many cousins. Theo and family—so sorry for your loss. I remember Esther from my IBM Endicott days in the late 70’s. I remember her smile and laugh. She will be missed.

Esther, I was looking forward to seeing you at our high school reunion next year - the first time I'd see you in 50 years!!!! But you were such a dear friend in my childhood and teen years, you are unforgettable! Do you remember how we did that Science Fair project together in 4th grade? Ours was the only one the judges stopped to seriously look at in our classroom and we were awarded a place at the All County State Fair. It was about electricity and fuses. I know you understood it much better than me!

Sunday School and youth group at church - learning about Jesus together.
Going on the youth group retreat and sneaking out on the roof at night.
I remember when your baby brother, Donald, was born.

Senior Prom - your house afterwards with lots of friends.

I wish we could have seen each other again. It's wonderful to read how well you did in your career, that you had 2 children and a wonderful husband, and that you ended up living in a dearly loved place for retirement. I'm sorry it had to end too soon.

I hope you are dancing with the angels now, seeing heaven with clear eyes.

Love, Nancy Brower Jonsson
