Condolence From: Edward Bilderback jr
Condolence: My mother Beryl Bilderback worked closely with Jane as a town Selectman for may years. She considered Jane as a gift to the town of Kennebunkport. Jane was the perfect town manager. intelligent and a great leader who could make tough decisions yet having unique skills to get the most out of employees. Her contributions to life in the Port were many and long lasting. Her passing is a great loss but her time as the leader of the Port impactful and special .

Condolence: My Dad, Joel Kimball, was the town mechanic for Kennebunkport for many years. Jane was the town manager when he was hired. My father, being a very independent man, worked for himself most of his life. When he was hired as the town mechanic, he joked that for the first time in his life that his boss was a woman. In general, it wasnt easy for him to ‘take orders’ He had the highest respect for Jane. He told me several times that she was a really great, smart lady. My Dad has advanced dimentia now, and I know he would be so sad to hear that she has passed.
I had the honor to meet Jane, and her little dog Wriggly (who I’m sure is dearly missing his Mama right now)
I ate supper with her one New Year’s Eve. I was really happy to meet her, since my father always had good stories to tell me about her.
Jane told me stories about my father, and events during her tenure as Kennebunkport town manager.
She also told me about her childhood, living just outside Chicago. Her father passed away right after she was born. She recalled happy memories of growing up in a big house with her Mom, brothers and grandparents. She warmly credited her grandparents for helping raise them all. She had a lot of pride of how hard her Mom worked to continue her education and get a PHD even though her husband died so young.
Jane was a good person through and through.

Condolence: I can't find the words to express how sorry I am to hear of Jane's passing. Heartfelt condolences to her family and many friends. Truly to know her was to love her. Her legacy of warmth, kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her.
I worked with Jane during her entire time as Town Manager of Kennebunkport. Those were the best working years of my life. She was a great boss! We had something unique in common - we were born on the exact same day so we celebrated our birthday together during that time and stayed in touch on our birthdays for many years after. I feel so lucky to have known her. She will be missed.

Condolence From: Susan Price
Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to all of Jane's family and to all who were lucky to have known her. Although we may have never met, she told such great stories about her family in Chicago during our appointments together in my salon chair. So much to miss. Our talks of music most of all! So grateful for the laughter and wisdom that you shared with me Jane. See you on the other side my dear friend.
