Obituary for Lawrence Benjamin Robichaud

Ogunquit- Lawrence Benjamin Robichaud of Ogunquit, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2020 at 8:10pm on Saint Lawrence Day at his cottage surrounded by his loving family.
Loving husband of 66 years to Irene (Babin) Robichaud. Larry is also survived by his children: Ronald and his wife Cathe, Michael and his wife Ruth, Janine, and Renee and her husband Tim
He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Caitlan and her husband Carlos, Benjamin, Lisa, Lauren, Kaleigh and her husband Brett, Nathan, Samuel and Nora. With three great grandchildren: Rocco, Violet and Chase.
He was born, July 28, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts, moving to Littleton, Massachusetts in 1964. His life and heart will always be Ogunquit, Maine. Littlefield’s Village began with tenting and progressed to cottages soon after. He always told us that his father, Benny, along with his brother, Arthur and he built the cottage on the creek. He has summered at Littlefield’s since the age of three… His true home! Wintering in Fort Myers for the past 25 years was his second home.
Some fun memories: Lobster feasts, Clamming on the flats, Bruin games, Sitting out on the porch, Coins on Fieldday and icecream for the Hall, Boating, Boogie boarding in the ocean, Dancing the night away with Irene, Giving treats to granddogs, Having a tool for every project, Traveling with Irene in the 5th wheel, cruises and more.
“Once a Marine always a Marine” is what he would tell all his children. Semper Fi. Air Force Reserve for 20 years, FAA as a Safety Inspector, and retiring at an early age of fifty nine to travel and enjoy life.
He will be missed by many, but his life can be celebrated and appreciated by all of us now….Semper Fi!
