Obituary for Leonard William Kupreance
Leonard William Kupreance, 92 years, of Berwick died March 11, 2021.
Lenny was born November 2, 1928 in Peabody, MA, a son of Polikarp and Annie ( Gromko) Kupreance. He graduated from U Mass, Lowell and was a design engineer. In 1950, Lenny married Winifred Mary Tobiasz, celebrating over 70 years until her death on January 11, 2021.
Lenny enjoyed hunting and fishing. Lenny was gregarious and was active in numerous clubs and lodges including: AM&FM Amity Lodge, Springvale Lodge, Past Master of Jordan Lodge, member of Aleppo Shrine in Wilmington, Danvers Fish and Game Club and the North Berwick Rod and Gun Club.
Lenny was predeceased by his wife, Winn; his son, Gary L. Kupreance; his sister, Joan Roby; and his grandson; Gary, Jr.
Lenny is dearly remembered by his daughter, Lee Anne Kupreance; his grandchildren, Cody and Shawna; his great grandson, John; and several close friends and neighbors.
A graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Berwick for Lenny, his wife, Winn, and son, Gary, will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1 pm with Rev. Burton Howe.
