Lori, Janet and I were very close friends in grade 9 and 10. We hung out together at recess and I loved going over to her house. I liked talking to her parents and younger brother, Jason. I remember she showed me her collection of Nancy Drew books. Lori and I did our math homework over the phone. I will miss her. We lost contact after high school and was reconnected during our high school reunion event by Facebook. Her voice echos in my memory. I will miss her.

Just hurts my heart to know she's gone. Very smart, funny, giving, and sweet woman. We had only been in touch via Facebook since graduate school at Auburn but I always knew I could contact her and she'd help, advise, listen, etc. She will be missed by many I'm sure. My heart goes out to James and their children.

I am so saddened to read this news. Although I have not seen Lori in years, we were very close growing up in a Saskatoon as neighbours for manny many years which developed into us being great friends. I am sad that we lost touch over the years as we both built our lives. She was always an amazing person, a true friend and she made her impact on the world. Annette and Sophie, I hope that someday we meet again and I can share some wonderful memories of your Mom when she was in high school and university. I will pray for Lori and her entire family.
