Lydie Mae Kennedy, age 68, of Canton, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was a graduate of Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She is survived by: her husband John Kennedy of Canton, GA; her sons - Rory (Michelle) Kennedy of Candia, NH, and Ryan Kennedy of Woodstock, GA; her daughter Erin Kennedy of Canton, GA; her brothers - Christopher Barrett of Columbia, South America, Kevin Barrett of Kennebunk, ME, and Daniel Barrett of Woodstock, GA; her sisters - Becky Tengwall of Portland, OR, and Melissa Hall of Kennebunk, ME; and her grandchildren - Alexis Kennedy, Toby Kennedy, Stella Kennedy, and Holden Kennedy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk ME, 04043. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at Hope Cemetery, 1 Barnard Lane, Kennebunk, ME 04043.
