Obituary for Mark Norman Gregoire
Mark Norman Gregoire, 65 years, of Kennebunk died peacefully February 2, 2020 at Southern Maine Medical Center surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer.
Mark was born July 14, 1954 in Biddeford, ME, a son of Norman and Fernande (Morin) Gregoire. He graduated from Biddeford High School, Class of 1972. Mark drove for different firms trucking anything from bait to gravel. He was currently working for Cumberland Farms trucking fuel to their various locations. He was President of United Steel Workers, Local 366 and was a former president and former member of the Eagles in Arundel.
Mark was a hard-working man who enjoyed his job. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His motto was short – “Work hard and pay your bills”.
In addition to his parents, Mark was predeceased by his brother Jeffrey Gregoire.
Mark is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 21 years, Linda Johnson; his dear bonus daughters, Michelle Tardif, Heather Plante and Kristin Brent; his siblings, Steve and his wife, Connie, Ken and his wife, Dorothy, Dawna Mitchell and her husband, David, and Michelle Gregoire; beloved ‘Bumpa’ to his five grandchildren, Jordyn, Courtney, Allison, Zac and Brennan; his great granddaughter, Taylen; several nieces and one nephew.
Friends may visit on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 11 am to 12 noon at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk, ME. A memorial service will follow at 12 noon with Reverend Carolyn Lambert at the funeral home.
