Obituary for Patricia Ann Gehring
On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, Patricia Gehring, loving matriarch of a large family, passed away at the age of 86 after a long battle of health issues.
Pat was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on August 16, 1936. She spent many years working as a waitress at Lums, Suzelles, and Roger’s Pizza, just to name a few. She ended her career as a Nurse's Aide, which she took great pride in for many years. She had many passions; she loved treasure hunting for antiques, traveling, going to camp, being an avid gardener as her beautiful flower beds reflected the care and love she gave them, and her songbirds and hummingbirds will miss her beautiful smile and generous, never-ending supply of birdseed.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Ulanda Fuller-Gonthier and Marshall Fuller; her son, Darren Goodwin; and her grandsons, Barret Boudreau and Matthew Goodwin. She is survived by her four brothers, Richard, Walter, David, and John Fuller, as well as her eight surviving children: Steven Goodwin, Debra Kenney, Robert Goodwin, Wanda Boudreau, Kip Goodwin, Gina DeVoll, Kerri McKenna, and Will Gehring; twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, as well as many nieces,nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 62 Cemetery Road, Berwick, ME 03901 at 2 PM on February 18th, 2023. A reception will follow at 339 Cranberry Meadow Road, Berwick, ME.
