Obituary for Peter Michael Arsenault
Peter Michael Arsenault, 72 years of age, passed on November 16, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
Peter was born in East Hartford, CT, on June 21, 1950, to Eugene and Bertha (Fortier) Arsenault. He grew up in New England where he met his wife of 51 years, Patricia. Together, they put their roots down in Wells, ME where they had two children, Laurie and Leslie.
Peter was well known in Ogunquit, where he spent 41 years working at Alexander’s Garage. While there, he met so many people and made many lifelong friends. Peter had a love for anything that had a motor inside, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved to play cards. Most of all, Peter enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends.
Peter leaves behind his wife, Patricia; his daughters, Laurie and Leslie Arsenault; his three grandchildren, Christopher Arsenault, Abagail Parrish, and Ryan Parrish; his sister-in-law, Linda Crawford; his brother-in-law, Andrew Crawford; his nephew, Eugene Vaillancourt; and his niece, Fannie Vaillancourt.
A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Berwick Road, Sanford, ME 04073. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at Wells Trailblazers, 102 Bills Lane, Wells, ME 04090.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s memory to The Animal Welfare Society, PO Box 43, West Kennebunk, ME 04094.
