Ralph A Blackington Jr, 73, died on May 10th, 2023. Ralph was born on October 25, 1949 in Bath Maine where he grew up. He graduated from Morse High School in 1968 and began working at Bath Iron Works. Ralph continued his professional career at The Coastal Journal, Davidson Rubber Dover NH and Harvey Construction Bedford NH.

In 1992 Ralph opened Horne Construction Company and grew his business for 27 years before retiring in 2019.

Ralph enjoyed traveling and had friends as far away as Chonqching China. He loved keeping in touch with many friends through his daily updates containing pictures, local weather, interesting facts or fun thoughts.

Ralph battled cancer for 11 years and participated in trials to help develop new life saving treatments. He passed in the comfort of his own home with his wife, Judy Horne, son, Cylas Blackington, daughter, Molly Blackington, and dog, Ding.

A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held at his home in Berwick on Saturday June 3rd 2023 at 1 PM.
