Robert Mark  Bynarowicz
Robert Mark Bynarowicz, 60 years, a resident of Wells, ME formerly of Bridgewater, MA, died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home after a long battle with cancer.

Robert (Bob) was born in Boston, MA on April 25, 1959, a son of Edward Joseph and Ann Marie (Morrissey) Bynarowicz. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School and attended Northeastern University.

Bob was employed by One Beacon Insurance of Boston for over thirty years, retiring in 2011. While he lived in Bridgewater, he coached baseball and softball teams for his children for many years.

In 2012, he moved to Wells, ME and owned and operated the Seahorse Resort, along with his wife, Elizabeth. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He referred to himself as “Sir Robert of Wells”.
Bob loved fishing, reading, taking trips to Florida and was an avid historian. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially enjoyed hosting many Bynarowicz and Varano family events over the years.

He was predeceased by his parents, his son Robert Mark Bynarowicz Jr., in 2011, his brother Edward Bynarowicz and his sister Nancy Bynarowicz Thurston.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth (Varano) Bynarowicz of Wells, ME and a daughter Erica Bynarowicz and her partner Jonathan Hart of Bridgewater, MA; his seven year old grandson, Torin of MA., five brothers, Thomas Morrissey and his wife Gem of Fredonia, NY, William Bynarowicz and his wife Sandra of Scottsdale, AZ, Michael Bynarowicz and his wife Brenda of Hingham, MA,Philip Bynarowicz and his wife Linda of Gloucester, MA, Paul Bynarowicz and his wife Elizabeth of Simpsonville, SC; and three sisters, Kathryn Whiffen of Hull, MA, Marie Simon and her husband Ruston of Simpsonville, SC and Rosemary Riccio and her husband John of Duxbury, MA. Bob was also survived by 44 nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.

Due to the current pandemic, a Memorial Mass and Celebration of Bob’s life will take place at a later date and interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk, ME.
