Obituary for Robert Martin "Bob" Connolly
Robert “Bob” Martin Connolly, 71, of Wells, passed away March 1, 2020. He was born October 4, 1948 in Melrose, MA to Martin and Elizabeth (Stantial) Connolly.
Bob grew up in North Reading, MA and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from UMass Amherst. He married Monique Ambrose in 1970. He worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for over 30 years as an Electronics Technician.
Bob was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Elizabeth Connolly and brother, Peter Connolly. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Monique Connolly of Wells, ME; daughter, Catherine Connolly of South Freeport, ME; daughter, Anne Connolly of Berwick, ME; daughter, Sharon Tracy and her husband, Wayne of Stetson, ME; son, Patrick Connolly and his wife, Amy of Marblehead, MA; 3 grandchildren, Summer Starrett of Berwick and Ingrid and Ronan Connolly of Marblehead, MA; brother, Paul Connolly and his wife, Evelyn of North Reading, MA; former son-in-law, James Starrett of Pownal, ME; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
