Obituary for Stella Marie Clemons (Lavoie)
Stella Marie Clemons, 79 years, of Waterboro, ME died January 18, 2021 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford due to Covid-19.
Stella was born October 13, 1941in Caswell, ME a daughter of Noah and Eva (St. Amand) Lavoie. Stella married Levi A. Michaud, Jr. and raised four children together until Levi’s death in 1985. On October 20, 1995, Stella married Roger H. Clemons, celebrating 25 years together. Stella worked at Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation for 31 years.
Stella loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards with friends and family. Stella enjoyed music and loved to dance.
Stella was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Steven Lavoie, Edmund Lavoie, Edwina Gagnon, Matilda Labreque and Lorette Beaulieu.
Stella is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger; her daughters, Sharon Nason and her husband, Donald, of Biddeford, ME, Barbara Vantrease and her husband, Dean, of Springfield, TN and Tammy Wolf and her husband, Aaron, of Danville, NH; her sons, Larry Michaud and his wife, Terry, of Biddeford, ME and Roger H. Clemons, Jr. of Bridgton, ME; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held this spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Kennebunk when the weather warms and hopefully, there will be less covid restrictions.
