Obituary for Velma A. Withrow (Durling)
Velma A. Withrow, 88, died Friday, February 21, 2020 in York.
Velma was born in Somerville MA December 27, 1931, the daughter of Ernest and Winifred Moses Durling, and is a graduate of Somerville High School.
For ten years, she served as a school crossing guard for the town of Lexington, MA. and moved to Wells in the late 1980’s where she continued to enjoy tending her flower gardens.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Withrow, Jr.
Survivors include her son Michael Withrow of Wells, and daughter Karen Withrow of South Portland.
Services will be private
