Obituary for Willard Armstrong Booth

Willard Armstrong Booth, 97, passed away February 16, 2021 in Kennebunk, ME. He was born July 16, 1923 in Oakville, CT to Clarence and Helen (Parker) Booth.

Willard graduated from Watertown High School and attended the Academy of Aeronautics in New York. He married Millicent “Millie” (Greason) Booth on August 9, 1947 and they enjoyed 70 wonderful years of marriage together until her passing in 2018.

Willard was Owner and President of Grey Electric Inc. in Oakville, CT. He honorably served our country as a member of the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII as part of the European Theater, 439 Troop Carrier, 9th Air Force. He was a member of Masonic Federal Lodge #17 in Watertown, CT; Ancient Scottish Rite in the Valley of Waterbury and the Valley of Bridgeport; Sphinx Shrine in Newington, CT; Sphinx Ritual Cast; Kaabans Shrine Club; Legion of Honor; Dimaryp Court #66 Royal Order of Jesters; and American Legion.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen Booth; wife, Millie Booth; and brother, Nelson Booth. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Booth of Stockbridge, MA and Sally Wellman and her husband Thomas of Kennebunk, ME; granddaughters, Jamie Lessard and her husband Scott of Dover, NH and Lisa Wellman of Dover, NH; and great-grandchildren, Brady, Megan, and Kelsey of Dover, NH.

Interment will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown, CT.
