Obituary for Paul D. Ouellette

Dateline –Arundel

Paul D. Ouellette, 60, a resident of Arundel and long time owner of New Morning Natural food store in Kennebunk and Biddeford died unexpectedly December 4, 2014 at his residence.
Paul was born August 25, 1954, in Biddeford, the son of Arthur and Annette Landry Ouellette, and is a graduate of Thornton Academy, Class of 1972.
Paul and his wife Sheila opened New Morning Natural Food Store in Biddeford, and building upon their success together, opened their Kennebunk store 19 years ago. This marked their 38th year of operation successfully together.
Paul had a strong faith in God. He was an active member of Eastpoint Christian Church in Portland. He also, along with Sheila, was an active member in Family Life Ministries; they served as a marriage mentor for many years.
Paul, Sheila and family lived on 35 acres of blessed land. This was a dream come true for them. He loved working around the house and caring for his family. He helped to make all of his wife’s dreams come true. He was a godly man which is what his wife adored about him. He was a true example of a family man.
Paul touched so many lives by his quiet, gentle and loving demeanor. He will be missed every second of every day. His smile lit up a room, and made you smile along with him. Paul and Sheila had a once in a lifetime relationship that was an inspiration to all that met them.
He is predeceased by his sister Diana Paquette.
Survivors’ include his wife Shelia Crepeau Ouellette, two sons Ryan Ouellette and Jeremiah and wife Jenice Ouellette, and a daughter Ariel Ouellette, all of Arundel, brother Ray Ouellette of Saco and three sisters Betty Morse, Dotty Twombly and Anita Labonte’ all of Saco. Grandchildren include, Abbie Ouellette, Alana Ouellette, Emily Ouellette, Isaac Ouellette, and Aiden Ouellette all of Arundel.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Eastpoint Christian Church, 58 City Line Drive, Portland.
Arrangements are in care of Bibbers Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk.
