Obituary for Jacki Keyes

Jacki  Keyes
WELLS, Jacki Lynn (Wilson) Keyes, 62, a resident of Wells, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her residence with her family at her side following a two year battle with cancer.
Jacki was born May 13, 1952 in Haverhill, NH, the daughter of George Hazen and Annie Guay Wilson, and graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1970. A lifelong learner, Jacki continued to further her knowledge, by attending several colleges during her lifetime, graduating with a Bachelor of Professional Studies from the University of New Hampshire, and attended York County Community College, where she received an Associate in Applied Science degree in computer applications Technology.
Jacki was employed as the church secretary at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Kennebunk for 12 years. She then joined expanded Rubber Products in Sanford from 1995 to 2009, and most recently at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in the Human Resources department, retiring in 2014 as an HR Specialist.
She was a former member of the Wells Fire Department, serving as an EMT out of the Highpine Station, loved to tend to her flower gardens, and quilting. Jacki took the most amazing trips with her husband and family, including 4 to Italy, where she took cooking classes, and saw Andrea’ Bocelli perform in his hometown.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, George “Bill” Keyes of Wells, two sons Jonathan Keyes of Wayland MA, and William Keyes and his wife Alicia of Brookline, NH, Two daughters Shauna Flagg of Rollinsford, NH and Bethany Keys of South Lake Tahoe, CA, three grandchildren, Matthew and Jackson Flagg and Hunter Keyes, a brother Hazen Wilson and his wife Margie of Brentwood, NH and a sister Paula Branham and her partner Lorraine DeToro of Glastonbury, CT.

Visitation will be held 4 to 6 PM Thursday, May 7 at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Rd. Wells, followed by a funeral service at 6PM at the funeral home. Interment will be Saturday at Pine Grove Cemetery, Woodsville, NH.

Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Dr. Joyce Liu’s Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, c/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave. Boston, MA. 02215 in Jacki’s memory.
