Obituary for N. Albert Ginchereau

Dateline – Wells, ME

N. Albert Ginchereau, 81, died Friday morning, November 4, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Lawrence, MA on August 24,1935, the only child of Narcisse Napoleon and Blanche Claudia (Gibeau) Ginchereau. Growing up in Lawrence, he graduated from Central Catholic High School, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Merrimack College.

After college, he began a 34 year career with Stop and Shop Supermarkets as Store Manager. On June 27, 1959, he married Florida Helen Chenel. Earlier this year, they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.

Albert enjoyed traveling, and was an avid reader of the Boston Globe. In his early years, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his loving wife Florida of Wells; his daughter, Karen Marie Ginchereau and her significant other, Rhonda Cole of Wells; three sons, Michael A. Ginchereau and wife Shanlee of Cape Neddick, Thomas A. Ginchereau of Wells, Charles J. Ginchereau and wife Jane of Nashua, NH; seven grandchildren, Larissa A., Corey A., Mikaylee M., Livia C., and Breckyn C. Ginchereau, Ray Jonathan Cole and Kelly J. Kennedy; three great grandchildren, Nathan, Sydnee, and Devon Kennedy.

Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish/St. Mary’s Church, 236 Eldridge Road, Wells, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Wells.
