Obituary for
Wyatt Peter Frost
LYMAN
Wyatt Peter Frost, 5, of Lyman, died Friday evening, November 18, 2016 returning home from school in the company of his friend, Earl Gray.
Wyatt was born August 4, 2011 in Biddeford, the son of Aaron and Jena Shaw Frost.
He attended school with his “second family”, the students and staff at the Morrison Center in Wells. Wyatt had the ability to make anybody smile as soon as he walked in the room. He loved to read, sing, and chase his friends, as well as playing “horsey” with his dad and cuddle with mom. His blanket forts were his sanctuary, his retreat where he would read, play or surf the iPad. He loved animals of all kinds, and loved cuddling with Duke his cat and playing fetch in the yard with his dog Sierra. But above all, Wyatt loved elephants. His first elephant was found in a book, but soon they filled him with wonder. His collection grew to between 50 and 100. Somehow he felt a bond and delight towards them. Those who have a connection to elephants are said to feel things deeply and respond to those feelings from a place of inner knowing. Family is very important to them, especially the very young and the very old. They are very loyal and remain loyal and loving in spite of difficult circumstances. Wyatt encompassed these attributes and had a great love and happiness of life.
He is predeceased by his great grandfathers, Bradford Shaw and Larry Pierce.
Survivors include his mother and father, Aaron and Jena Shaw Frost, his newborn sister Scarlett Frost, all of Lyman, maternal grandparents Peter and Wendy Shaw of Kennebunk, Paternal Grandparents Terry Colon and her husband Charlie of Havelock NC and Dane Frost and his wife Debra Stone of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Maternal great grandmothers Gloria Pierce of Kennebunkport , Helen Shaw, of Kennebunk, Rachel Pierce of Sanford, ME, , Paternal Great Grandparents Helen and Paul Andrews of Zephyrhills, FL , Bebe and Malcolm Frost of Rock Ledge FL, Great Great Grandmother Margaret Provencher of Kennebunk, Uncles Ben Frost, Matthew Shaw, Jamie Shaw and his wife Jennifer Shaw and their children Autumn and Jake, and Aunt Sarah Kelleher and her husband Bryan, and their daughter Ella, and, and wide circle of extended family.
