Bernice "Bunny" May Noble Johnson Moore, 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Newton Center Nursing Home in Sanford, Maine, where she has been a resident since 2010.

Bunny was born on April 3rd, 1941, in Kennebunk, Maine, the daughter of Willard Noble and Beatrice (Robinson) Noble Wright.
She grew up on the family homestead located on Heath Rd in Kennebunk where her niece Dawn Noble still lives with her family.

Bunny married Donald B. Johnson on November 24, 1956, in Sanford, Maine. They had five children and divorced in 1963.

She moved to Florida and resided in New Port Richey and then bought her home in Hudson. She was married to Ray Moore from 1970 to 1984 and they remained close friends until his death in 2004.

Over the years, Bunny worked a variety of jobs and ended her work career at the Westin Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in 2006. She started there as a house keeper and finished her employment as a driver of their tram buses and had to retire after surviving first lung cancer and then brain cancer. She moved back to Maine in 2008 and lived with her daughter Sharon.

During her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting blankets, vests, and hats for her family. She also liked to socialize with her friends and family.

Bunny is predeceased by her father and mother; her brothers Willard Noble, Jr., Walter Noble, and Keith Noble; and her son Dana Johnson.

She is survived by her son Chris Johnson and his wife Laurie (Randall) of Waterboro, ME; daughter Sharon (Johnson) Phillips and her husband James of Springvale, ME; daughter Donna (Johnson) LaRose and her husband Michael of Sanford, ME; and her son Glenn Johnson and his wife Elaine of Sanford, ME. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service to held on Sunday, April 9,2017 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at Bibber's Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043
