Shirley Euphema Clark, 88, died peacefully on Nov 26, 2017 at Hyder Hospice House, Dover, NH. Her life was characterized by unfailing devotion to her family as a faithful wife, devoted mother, and invested grandmother.

She will be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Jeanne Sorrell (Rob) of Berwick, ME and Mary Macbeth (Bob) of Loveland, CO; five grandchildren, Sarah Alber, Megan Frith, Mikeal Macbeth, Sloane Sorrell, and SSG Cody Sorrell, all of whom cherish her wholehearted support; four great-grandchildren, Phoebe, Josie, Forrest, and Walker, whom she adored.

Shirley was born Dec. 14, 1928 to Ray and Ruby Adams Ricketts in Arnold, NE and on July 13, 1948 married Floyd Clark, the love of her life. They resided in Southern CA and Ft. Collins, CO until retiring in ME in 2008.

Along with delighting many children with her storytelling, she also enjoyed scrapbooking, raising Silky Terriers, rose gardening, and reading.

She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years; a brother, Bud Ricketts; and a great granddaughter Hazel Anne Alber.

A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Springvale.
