He has summered at Littlefield’s since the age of three… His true home! Wintering in Fort Myers for the past 25 years was his second home.
Some fun memories: Lobster feasts, Clamming on the flats, Bruin games, Sitting out on the porch, Coins on Fieldday and icecream for the Hall, Boating, Boogie boarding in the ocean, Dancing the night away with Irene, Giving treats to granddogs, Having a tool for every project, Traveling with Irene in the 5th wheel, cruises and more.
“Once a Marine always a Marine” is what he would tell all his children. Semper Fi. Air Force Reserve for 20 years, FAA as a Safety Inspector, and retiring at an early age of fifty nine to travel and enjoy life.

We will miss Larry but I know Bob and his buddies are thrilled to see him again! What a crew they were. I was so impressed by the way these guys were always helping each other and other people fix things around the village. Larry was always our first stop before we headed to the hardware store when we needed a tool or even a specific nail/nut/bolt for a project that we didn't have. Most of the time I didn't have to go to the hardware store. I met a man who lives in Moody across from my friend and when he found out I was in LFV he told me about a guy he used to know who lived in there. One day this man was working at an auto shop downtown, they got a call about a guy whose boat broke down while out in the ocean or river and they rescued him and then HIRED him. After we spoke and we figured out that it was Larry, the man came in the village for the past few years to visit Larry. That man is 95 yrs old, Mr. Cady (sp?). He also sends his condolences.
